Detailed Itinerary

6-Day Yunnan (Kunming–Baoshan–Mangshi–Tengchong) Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kunming

Meals: None Accommodation: Four-star hotel in Kunming Transport: Private transfer Itinerary: Arrive in Kunming by flight, enjoy private transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free time at leisure. Optional tasting of local specialties such as Steam Pot Chicken with Panax Notoginseng and Wild Mushroom Hot Pot.

Day 2: Kunming → Baoshan → Mangshi

Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner Accommodation: Four-star hotel in Mangshi Transport: High-speed train / Air-conditioned coach Itinerary: After breakfast, take a high-speed train to Baoshan, then continue by coach to Mangshi. Visit Menghuan Golden Pagoda, the largest hollow Buddhist pagoda in Asia, and the nearby Menghuan Silver Pagoda. After dinner, check in at the hotel.

Day 3: Mangshi → Ruili → Tengchong

Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner Accommodation: Four-star hotel in Tengchong Transport: Air-conditioned coach Itinerary: Travel to Ruili and visit One Village, Two Countries, a unique border attraction. Continue to Tengchong and explore Rehai Scenic Area (including shuttle bus), one of Yunnan’s major geothermal sites. Enjoy a relaxing experience at Dongshan Hot Spring. After dinner, check in at the hotel.

Day 4: Tengchong

Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner Accommodation: Four-star hotel in Tengchong Transport: Air-conditioned coach Itinerary: Visit Beihai Wetland (including boat ride), the only national wetland reserve in Yunnan. Enjoy Copper Pot Yellow Beef Stew for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Simola Wa Ethnic Village (including shuttle bus). After the October National Holiday, this will be replaced by Gingko Village. Return to the hotel after dinner.

Day 5: Tengchong → Baoshan → Kunming

Meals: Breakfast / Lunch Accommodation: Four-star hotel in Kunming Transport: Air-conditioned coach / High-speed train Itinerary: Visit Heshun Ancient Town, one of China’s Top 10 Charming Ancient Towns. Enjoy the special Volcanic Rehai Banquet for lunch. Transfer to Baoshan Railway Station and take a high-speed train back to Kunming. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. Dinner at your own arrangement.

Day 6: Kunming → Departure

Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: N/A Transport: Private transfer Itinerary: After breakfast, transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule. For flights after 13:00, enjoy free time to purchase local specialties. End of tour.
