Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: July 14, 2026
Welcome to GoChinaNow. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at go-china-now.com and the travel planning and inbound tour services provided by GoChinaNow Travel (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using this website, submitting an inquiry, or booking a trip with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
These Terms, together with your confirmed itinerary and any written communication from your travel consultant, form the basis of the contractual relationship between GoChinaNow and you (the “Client”).
1. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed once your travel consultant has finalized your itinerary with you and you have paid the required deposit.
Payment Method
Once your itinerary is confirmed with your travel consultant, you will receive a secure payment link or QR code to pay your deposit and final balance. GoChinaNow does not directly collect or store your full card details; these are handled exclusively by our payment processor in accordance with their security standards.
Deposit & Final Payment
A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your itinerary. The final balance is due 30 days before your trip’s departure date. If your booking is made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Receipt of your deposit or final payment indicates that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Currency and Exchange Rate
Quotations are provided in US Dollars (or another currency as agreed with your consultant) for your convenience. Where payment is processed in a different currency, exchange rates are determined by our payment processor and card network at the time of transaction, and may differ slightly from the rate used in your original quotation. GoChinaNow is not responsible for any variance caused by exchange rate fluctuations or fees charged by your bank or card issuer.
2. Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to ground/land arrangements only (e.g., hotels, guides, private transportation, and admission fees). It does not cover flights, trains, or other third-party bookings, which are subject to the relevant airline, railway, or provider’s own cancellation terms — we will inform you of these separately where applicable.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (by email) to your travel consultant. Refunds are calculated based on the date we receive your written cancellation request — not the date of your original booking.
| Cancellation Timing | Refund |
|---|---|
| 30 days or more before departure | 100% refund |
| 21–29 days before departure | 80% refund (20% forfeited) |
| 10–20 days before departure | 60% refund (40% forfeited) |
| 0–9 days before departure, or no-show | No refund |
Once your trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services (including but not limited to hotels, transportation, meals, or admission fees) due to early departure, late arrival, or missed days on your itinerary.
Any cancellation fees imposed by third parties (such as banks, payment processors, hotels, or transportation providers) that are non-recoverable will be deducted from your refund in addition to the amounts above.
Traveler substitutions (replacing one traveler with another) are treated as a cancellation and are subject to the same policy.
Special terms may apply to promotional or discounted bookings; where applicable, these will be shown on the relevant offer or communicated to you in writing.
3. Alteration of Itinerary
We understand that travel plans can change. Here’s how we handle itinerary modifications:
- Minor changes (e.g., swapping an activity or hotel for an alternative of equal standard) made 30 days or more before departure can generally be accommodated free of charge.
- Changes made within 30 days of departure, or changes involving flights, trains, or other pre-booked third-party services, may incur additional costs. Your travel consultant will confirm any extra charges before proceeding.
- If your itinerary is modified or extended due to force majeure (such as extreme weather, transportation disruptions, or government action), we will do our best to accommodate the change free of charge, while reserving the right to re-quote where costs are affected.
4. Travel Documentation
All clients are responsible for holding a valid passport and any necessary visas or entry permits at the time of travel. Ensuring this documentation is valid and accurate is solely the client’s responsibility.
Where you request assistance (for example, with a tourist visa or Port Visa application), your travel consultant may help guide you through the process, but GoChinaNow accepts no responsibility or liability for a client’s failure to obtain appropriate travel documentation, or for any consequences arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
If we require your passport or visa details to arrange any part of your trip, please review the information carefully before submitting it. Errors in the information you provide may result in delays, additional fees, or the inability to issue certain bookings, for which GoChinaNow is not responsible.
5. Health & Safety
Clients are responsible for considering the health and safety conditions relevant to their trip, including researching any vaccination recommendations, altitude considerations, or other health requirements for the regions they plan to visit.
Some itineraries may include activities that require a reasonable level of fitness or carry inherent risk (for example, hiking, high-altitude travel, or boat excursions). Our guides will provide reasonable assistance and safety guidance, but such activities are undertaken at the client’s own risk.
Clients should consult their own physician regarding any pre-existing conditions before undertaking travel that involves high altitude or physically demanding activities.
6. Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation or interruption, delays, lost luggage, and other unforeseen events, from a provider in their home country.
GoChinaNow is not responsible for any financial loss, medical expense, or other difficulty arising from a client’s decision not to obtain adequate travel insurance.
7. Complaints and Claims
If you experience any issue during your trip, please notify your travel consultant or on-the-ground guide as soon as possible so we can address it promptly.
If you wish to submit a formal complaint or claim after your trip, please contact us in writing within 15 days of the end of your tour, along with any relevant documentation (such as receipts or photos). We are unable to accept or process claims submitted after this 15-day period.
8. Communications
You can reach us via our website contact form, live chat, email, or phone. We aim to respond to all inquiries, booking requests, and modification or cancellation requests within 12 hours.
If you do not receive a response within this timeframe, please contact us directly at hello@go-china-now.com or +86 153 0265 6373 so we can address your request promptly.
9. Our Local Partners
GoChinaNow curates and coordinates travel services through our carefully selected network of local partners — including accommodations, transportation providers, licensed guides, and destination specialists — to deliver your itinerary.
While we are not liable for errors caused solely by circumstances outside our control (see Section 10), GoChinaNow remains your primary point of contact throughout your trip and will work to resolve any service issues that arise with our local partners on your behalf.
10. Liability and Responsibility
GoChinaNow arranges travel services on your behalf by coordinating with hotels, transportation providers, guides, and other local partners (see Section 9). We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in information provided to us by these third parties.
GoChinaNow shall not be liable for any loss, injury, delay, or damage to person or property, or any change or cancellation of your itinerary, caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, natural disasters, mechanical breakdown, acts of government or public authorities, war or civil unrest, strikes, epidemics or pandemics, terrorism, or other events of force majeure.
GoChinaNow is not responsible for a client’s failure to comply with local customs, immigration, or other legal regulations.
GoChinaNow is not responsible for the loss or theft of a client’s personal belongings, except where caused by our direct negligence.
We reserve the right to substitute hotels, transportation, or guides with alternatives of comparable standard, or to adjust the itinerary, where necessary due to circumstances outside our control. If GoChinaNow cancels a confirmed trip prior to departure for reasons within our control, we will provide a full refund of monies received.
Some itineraries include activities that carry inherent risk (see Section 5). GoChinaNow, its employees, and its local partners will exercise reasonable care but cannot be held responsible for outcomes beyond that reasonable duty of care.
11. Modification or Discontinuance of Service
GoChinaNow reserves the right to modify or discontinue service to any client who behaves illegally, abusively, or in a manner that is obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable toward our staff, guides, or local partners.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, itineraries, and branding — is the property of GoChinaNow or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your booking with GoChinaNow shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
14. Changes to These Terms
GoChinaNow reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
